It has been a great experience attending the Smart Maker Festival (SMF), as a part of 10th IEEE Ubiquitous Computing, Electronics and Mobile Communication Conference IEEE IEMCON 2019, hosted at University of British Columbia. The conference was held over three days, October 17-19, 2019.

SMF is the primary event for creative and innovative makers that have the opportunity to showcase their creations. There were number of interesting inventions, keynote speakers, and other technologies topics. Attendees had the opportunity to build a small prototype at the event, and there was a prize for winner worth $1000.

IEEE IEMCON 2019 was outstanding succeed with the attending of several committees, authors, organizations, and attendees. Fortunately, we had an occasion to discuss with Dr. Son Vuong (UBC Professor Emeritus) various technologies topics and adopt new solutions as well as challenges that requires more research; we appreciate his guidance and useful advice.

Last but not least, we also thank you Professor Avijit Bose for invited us to the event, to people that have made this IEEE IEMCON 2019 conference possible, and those who contributes their research.
