Computer programmer is a person who response for writing computer programs or coding in short. This occupation is well known that male takes a larger proportion in this area; however, the number of women who can code are increasing recently, and WEDOAN very encourages this revolution. Computer programming does not require men or women, anyone who desire to become a programmer are welcome, because each gender has different angle of view in the job.

Ping Identity and Women Who Code Vancouver hosted the Understanding Identity Security event on November 6, 2019. We joined the occasion and had great conversation with female programmers who have several fascinating topics about programming especially in web design and development.

The event topics were really interested such as Ping Identity and Security (Sascha Preibisch), OAuth Introduction (Spoorthy Seenapa), and Support Client Initiated Backchannel Authentication with Ping Federate (Maggie Hung).
